CALL FOR PROPOSALS
SIR recently opened its first Expression of Interest and Call for Proposals and had a very good response from both industry and academics.
We are currently reviewing applications from the automotive, ICT and energy sectors.
Project proposals cover areas like reverse logistics, cleaning, measuring material wear, diagnostics and assessment tools.
There are currently three Universities engaged in the collaborations: University of Strathclyde, Heriot Watt University and Robert Gordon University.
The Call for Proposals closed on September 30th and we expect to award our first project funding in early November.
Moving forward
We now have an open call so will accept Expressions of Interest or Applications at any time.
