Our engagement with SIR has been the driving force behind Renewable Parts R & D over the last 18 months. Since establishment of the refurbishment centre the business has had a number of projects funded by SIR which have covered work right through from material analysis to commercialisation of results.
As a business we very much see SIR as our R & D partner, as the work we do together would not be feasible in house due to lack of facility or expertise. Having our R & D carried out externally allows our engineering team to focus on production, at the same time knowing that all the necessary due diligence is in place.
