Participate in the 1st International Europe-Africa Workshop on Remanufacturing (EuAReman)
The 1st international Europe – Africa workshop on Remanufacturing, (EuAReman), will happen in Sicily 7-9 October 2026.
This novel event is being organised by the Scottish Institute for Remanufacturing (SIR) in Scotland, and the National Research Council of Italy (the ICAR-CNR) and The Società Italiana Remanufacturing (SIR), in Italy. Collaboration between the Global South and the Global North is fostered using remanufacturing to address major global and regional Sustainability issues.
This inaugural event is the first of a series, with future global expansion planned.
This event is hosted as a workshop, requiring only an abstract to be submitted. However, abstracts may be extended into full conference papers for the International Conference on Remanufacturing (ICoR: https://www.remanufacturing-conference.com/), which will occur in the Netherlands 13-15 April 2027.
ICoR was first international academic conference for remanufacturing (established in 2011 by the University of Strathclyde). It is now a biennial event running in conjunction with Rematec, the world’s leading remanufacturing exhibition and trade event. ICoR began in Strathclyde in 2011.
More information can be found on the EuAReman website (https://www.euareman.org/). There will, also, be several hotels offering reductions to workshop attendees.
