Event – Remanufacture & Reuse in the cycling industry

The Mountain Bike Centre of Scotland (MTBCoS) and the Scottish Institute for Remanufacturing (SIR) are hosting an event to look into how the cycling industry can reduce waste and redesign their products to allow for reuse or remanufacture.
We are also delighted to announce that Isla Rowntree of Islabikes will be presenting at the event to talk about the “Imagine Project” of leasing bikes and how they will be designed for longeivity and easy refurbishment.

- Cycling companies producing bikes, e-bikes, components, clothing, protection, tyres, wearable technology
- Academics from engineering, textiles, polymer, electronics, manufacturing, business schools, chemicals, physics backgrounds
- Companies providing services & products in the reuse and remanufacture of goods
- Students and entrepreneurs with business ideas.
Speed Pitching
There is an oppurtunity for attendees to present a 2 minute speed pitch to highlight your expertise or requirements to the rest of the audience. There will be two networking sessions to build upon the speed pitches.
